Did you know, it's in the stars,
Sometime next year we collide with Mars,
What a swell party this is...

Urgh. Don't know how to top that.
All my tired brain will produce is:
"A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play"
I believe Salmon Rushdie once worked on the Mars account... But all this is very much beside the point-

I think there was an Alice Cooper song that had something to do with Mars.
Or perhaps he just looked like he was from there.

Mars, like all planets – the Earth in particular!
- can grow, of course. I observe this process very often at home. Have you not noticed how the Earth surface level increases with half an inch - as measured on the room floors and furniture - when you are away for a week and nobody will dust and hoover in your absence?
Mars might grow quicker, as I suspect regular vacuum cleaning wasn’t introduced there (yet!)-

True. But then their sea levels aren't rising, as they don't have aircraft apparently boosting global warming.
