An email arrives...

I am a Producer/Director at Endemol UK, a large independent TV company in the UK that produces a variety of shows from Animal Park (BBC) to Ready, Steady Cook (BBC) and Restoration (BBC).

I'm currently in the initial stages of developing a dating series for Channel 4, which is going to be an upbeat, intelligent, and entertaining series without the cheesiness of previous match-making formats.

At the moment I am filming a pilot for the series (which will not be on
TV), and looking for 5 fabulous women to film for the day. They'll have the 'onerous' task of choosing a theoretical date from a broad selection of
single men who'll try to win over their attention.

I'd like to hear from lovely looking, single females with interesting jobs (like PR), who might want to take part in something a little different on Saturday 1st March. If you think you might be interested, please give me a call to find out more.

  The only reason it didn't get the instant deletion in horror treatment is the fact that it won't go on tv.
  
  Mind you, that's what they say - it's probably a set-up. Jeremy Beadle may have gone, but his legacy lives on...

Oh I sent these things all the time to put in our internal comms newsletter. I'd sooner poke myself in a the eye with a stick all weekend, personally - and that comes from a PR poppet!

    hey darling, i'm ok went trough a dark patch but i'm sorted now. only still have to restrict my blogging as my god damn computer is in my brothers room and since he got sacked i have little access. spoke to my mum about moving out. I can in sept move in with a girl off the course, but mum told me not to be an idiot and to save some money. so now i'm torn between rules and money lol xx

I'm sure I ran into that producer when I was doing the PR job several years ago. I think she was working for a different production company then, but she wanted to set up a similar thing using our PR set up to do the hard work of setting people working for us up for dates
