Apparently my television is envious of my laptop.
Well, that's the only explanation I can find for the fact that whenever my wireless broadband is on, my television screen condenses the viewing by two-thirds.
Seriously. I've been experimenting and the TV works fine when the broadband is switched off, but most of the picture disappears when it's on.
Bloody attention-seeking bastard.

Pro In all seriousness ... my telly used to be on a different type of signal from my video and it was a hassle to tune in. Mibbe they're running on a similar signal

I think my Freeview box tops your telly's jealousy. I only need to pay a smidgen of attention to my lightswitch and I get a set-top box sissy fit. I just get my own back and turn on my desktop and my laptop. Take that you dumb digi-box!

I hate my TV as well. Sometimes when I stagger home drunk I hurl abuse at it about sexy plasma screens I've been seeing, or leer about kicking it out and ringing the council to collect it.
